Mechanical trim indicator
I'm looking into purchasing a good setup for mechanical indicator. I've looked at stainless marine, they seem to have a good system. They offer the oem style of mount that mounts on the bell housing, & then there is the one that mounts on the trim ram. Which is the better way to go, or are they about the same? I'm wanting an indicator that will read my tabs & drive in the same panel. Last question...What is the best way to route the cable off the drive & thru the transom? Should I route it up towards the top & then go thru, or straight off the drive & thru the transom? Anybody that may have pics of their set up would be very helpful.

Re: Mechanical trim indicator
Call FRED @ TRICK off of this site. He is a Stainless marine dealer and can get you the whole setup. If you want the best put in the pop up indicators, once you run the boat with pop up indicators you want run one with out.

Re: Mechanical trim indicator
I'll definetly have to give him a call, I do believe that I will have to go with the heads-up due to the fact I really don't have a place to mount a panel. Thanks for the input

Re: Mechanical trim indicator
I got mine from Fred and Ryan installed them.
Like Ryan said, the pop ups are so much nicer than the flat mount you will have a hard time going back.
