It's true, it can be done.
I don't recall what the process is called, or the trade name the gas is called, but you can seperate the hydrogen from the water. The gas is used by glass artists like the ones you see in flea markets or malls. A guy here in Florida was on TV with his vehicle conversion. His car runs on the stuff. Only problem is that it takes more energy to seperate the hydrogen than it creates. Not efficient at all. Atomic powered submarines use a similar process to seperate breathing oxygen from sea water and they dump the hydrogen overboard. |
