Re: what should i do ?!
It's not what you should do, Instead it is what you should have done.
Back in November, you should have had the boat surveyed. Sorry to put it so bluntly. |
Re: what should i do ?!

SAMS is the other one. Always make sure you call and interview your potential surveyor first. Ask for a faxed or emailed copy of a previous survey they have done, and ask for recommendations. I have purchased two boats off the net and been satisfied with the boats by doing this. The good ones are very through.

Back to the original question. It depends on what you have in writing. Does the receipt say "AS IS" and not mention #5 speedmaster or does it give specifics? Your course of action will depend on what is in writing. Good Luck
Again, not rubbing salt in wounds, - the survey would have disclosed discrepencies. That being said, I personally probably wouldn't have a survey on a small investment - but if I'm spending major $$ - It's getting looked at first. |

okay....are there any options to follow if say your accredited surveyor misses something...like say a completely rotted transom...or is the survey not really worth the paper it's written on??
