For those of us that live here at Lake of the Ozarks, it is the only way to go. Assuming you're talking about having a boat that will fit on one. I have two, work great.

We have a 15,000 lbs Hydro hoist behind our Bay home in calm water a few hundred yards from the main body of water.
We prefer this style lift over our previous electric /cable lift.
It's Safer, ,faster, dead even and runs on a $50.00 vacume cleaner motor.
We first held our Gun with 8' beam and now with Myco bunk she holds our Cat with 10' 6" beam .

We have a lift and boat house behind our home on the Baneshawa Bayou, which leads to the Jordan river, then to the back bay and then gulf. This is a pic of the 04 Nortech 4300 on it, it was destroyed during katrina but is being finished as we speak for the new 4300. Jeff
