Polyform Elite's with the drawstring ends are the softest and most durable. The 8x20 size covers almost the entire end of the fender as well when drawn-up and tied. I have had the same covers on six 8x20 HTM's for 10 years and two boats. Granted I fuss over them, but the durability and colorfastness of the black ones I have is amazing. Not ONE scuff or rub in the paint or gel of either boat in 10 years.

I will add that my boat is slipped undercover, so they don't ride the boat very often except at another dock or rafted, and don't sit out in UV

It is important when the weave pics up debris of ANY KIND off a strange dock or seawall to flush them on the fender from around the inside with good volume garden hose sprayer to flush the chit back out of them in the direction from which it came.

Do NOT launder them. Just flush them out regularly.

Rippem - been browsing around. Any idea who has best price on them?

Mark - what did you put on the 'personalization' tag?

I've never seen any advertised price on them vary more than a couple dollars.

What are you seeing browsing for them?

They are not cheap in terms of covers, but they are the best IMHO, and I've looked at/fondled all of the brands.
