I had an dream that SBI and APBA merged. They agreed to follow the same rules, but were run like the NFL with one group being the AFC the other the NFC. They would meet once a year for their 'Superbowl"- in Key West for the "World Championships"
If this dream were to happen, each group could be run independently for profit, the racers would not be coarsed into running one or the other. If it works for football and baseball, why not Offshore????
I know I'm only dreaming.... we even have our own characters-like George Stienbrenner-no need to mention names.....
Do others share this dream? It would certainly put a stop to debates between APBA and SBI.
Do our Superiors share this dream? Imagine 200 boats in Kew West for a unified World Championship!
Or was it just a dream?

It would be nice, just to see all the boats together. I just wish all the rules and classes were similar so you could draw even comparisons of boats.

I think with OPA/SBI/FORCE we should have a bunch of good racing this year...now, I just have to go pick up the boat!!..
