This has never been on OSO but I love this poem and it is easily relevant to boat racing.

I can't remember where I saw the boat, but someone had anodized a plaque on the dash of their catamaran that said "If you're afraid of flying or going fast and are going to tell me to slow down, GET THE **** OFF MY BOAT!"
