Most marinas will allow their owners and guests to weekend on their boats. That's typically not considered live-aboard.

we have kept our top gun there a few times, calm water, easy in and out, monty's and the beach right there

I thought I had one in Ft Lauderdale, but the deal fell through. Maybe next year...
