Intresting Super Hawaii on Ebay

I remember when This was listed before.
I wonder how it will perform with the small blocks and the Blackhawk drives. Aren't Blackhawks surfacing drives? I was lead to believe that a sufacing drive won't work on a Super Hawaii because of the notched transome.

Could be a cool setup, if it works.

Well, I'd be surprised if it even gets on plane. small block trying to get those BH drives with 31,s to break free is not likely. The thing will drive like crap because it wont carry the nose unless someone put a load of rocker in the hull. BH drives don't trim up the nose, the trim up the rooster tail.

Besides that, couldn't they have washed out the filthy bilge before puttin the motors in?

Yikes! I think that guy should stick to selling used vw bug parts. Dirty rotten looking hull (notice the mold everywhere?) and some small block crate motors! the trailer looks like the best part of that deal.

I hope that doesn't belong to anyone on the board?......

I was thinking the same thing about the trailer. He might do better parting this one out.

It's got to be a left over hull or an Intrepid produced hull. Super Hawaii'a last year in business was 1992.
I remember he was on theboard briefly, excited about buying the boat on Ebay.

That looks like a lot of hull for a pair of small blocks........

The unfinished cabin is gonna turn a lot of people off.

There`s just a lot of stuff not right about this boat.
But, I hope he gets his reserve price.

Looks like the leg room for the co-pilot really sucks.

Is that the same boat that sat on a storage lot near the dam at LOTO maybe 5 or 6 yrs ago?
Too much work for me.....

.

The cabin is the least of that boats issues. If it was in flawless condition it would still be dated and fugly.

theres no mold, thats pine needles from the sides of the hatch when lifted. its been 30 degrees here in the morning and i didn't want to freeze my feet off. if someone buys the boat, they can sell the drives and put regular bravos on it and pocket some cash, I had bought the drives for a previous boat and just put them on, i was going to see if they would work. Thanks Lofty for the comments, sounds like if a fellow boater was broke down on the water your decision to help would be based on the paint or style of the boat.

Don't pay any attention to the guys with no class. Some times opinions are best kept to ones self. It could still be finished as a boat to be proud of.
Good luck with the sale.

I was going to just put a post on saying that you guys forget that with the size of this board the owner may be a member...... Well guess what.... And a paying member at that.

I like to buy things that are dirty like that. Not much effort for the new buyer to just jump in there and make it look the way that they want it. You get your best deals that way. This is a project boat. I am sure that the guy is taking a bath on it.

Hey Velocity -

No insult intended. I hope you get what you want for the boat.

If by chance you don't (and decide to part it out in some fashion), I would be interested in discussing the trailer with you. I have an older load master as a partial trade.

Thanks,

Rick

Velocity,

Sorry you took offence, just commenting on what the pics represent. You might do better to sell it if you clean her up a bit. I buy project boats all the time, in fact, I've bought some real pigs and turned them into something nice.

Here are the last couple, I got them for pennies becuase the owners couldn't be bothered to clean them up prior to trying to sell.

Good luck with her. And by the way, I'de tow that boat in anytime.:D
