Re: Attn Painters

What is the widest point on the hull sides? Do you want to do the deck as well?

Re: Attn Painters

Over 36", 40-42" depending on under/over the rubrail and whether to go down below an edge that runs the length of the bottom of the hullside.
I know there's tons of factors that go into a wrap project, but I'm just looking for perhaps a range of pricing, with an example maybe of what that range would buy (# of colors, additional/custom design work, etc.)

Re: Attn Painters

A 30' Boat would be roughly $3,500.00 installed. The design would vary.....the colors , you are not limited to.

Re: Attn Painters

Ryan...How tough or durable are the wraps as far as tying up to others with bumpers..docking ???

Ryan Beckley 01-15-2007 06:21 PM

Re: Attn Painters

The stuff is pretty tough as it is the same thing they use to WRAP a city bus. Bumpers and stuff are no problem. It has a clear laminate over the top for general and UV protection.

Re: Attn Painters

Thanks ...If there were a scratch or tear could it be fixed or would we have to replace that side??

Re: Attn Painters

Can you paint a clear coat over a wrap to preserve it for years? Would it hold up as well as a paint if you can?

Ryan Beckley 01-15-2007 09:46 PM

Re: Attn Painters

You can clear over most vinyls, BUT if you applied it right, clean and waxed it, I would think it could last as much as 10 years if kept up.
