What Kind Of Boats/races Are These?
 

The other day i was watching speed channel, and caught the tail end of a commercial about boat races. They looked like they were about 14-16 foot or so with big power racing what looked like in the commercial kind of a figure 8 track. It looked like really shallow water and pretty murky, so Im almost wondering if its some kind of swamp racing or something. Looked like it would be a fun event to watch. Anyone know anything about these, or where to find more info?

Might have been jetsprinting. That used to be on speed a lot.

Jetsprinting huh? Now that you mention it, the boats were a jet boat, running what appeared to be pretty big power for such a small boat. Ill have to try and google that, thanks.

That is cool racing, injected alcohol big blocks and small blocks. Didn't the kiwi's start this?
