who knows a lot about computers....
I am having trouble with this city wide vote for buisness of the year for my wife..............I put it to the people of oso to help me vote for my wifes buisness......The guys cranked the numbers to over a hundred but every time i get close to the top the other guys numbers go through the roof.......My question is how can i or we vote more than once.......the buisness is artfully yours and the link is in the upper right hand corner........

The web server may keep track of unique ip addresses. If it sees a post from an ip that already has visited, it wont let u vote. As far as u voting 2x, u would have to see if maybe its timer resets (like after an hour or day, etc) to allow another vote from same ip. You can also try deleting your cookies if thats what the server is tracing or vote from different isp's; such as work, home, maybe your wireless provider, etc. best thing to do is do what u did, ask others to vote. i just did.

cookies are stored on individaul computers, ip address is the address assigned to your internet connection. IP address = internet provider address similar to you home address but for computers. I wonder if loging out of your internet provider and the loging back in would let you vote again?
