Where's Sharkey?
We need him to retro fit one of his old boats!
What do you think Tim, start a little side venture with me.

Re: Mercruiser to introduce new engine/drive package
Wasn't that a Renault? About 1969? Boy I feel old. At least it didn't have to be winterized, the block was self draining. And don't forget the 1989-1991 Force/Merc L-drive. Now that was something that Carl K. would have fired people over.Seriously, do we need a 100hp stern drive with the new 4-stroke outboards so sophisticated and boats don't need to be re-designed for them? Sounds to me to be an answer to a question nobody asked, but I guess time, and the market, will tell. At least Merc isn't afraid to try something new,I applaude them for that.

That's right the 60, 80 and 90 were Renault engines. The drives had the water pump on the top Cobra style. The Rover was Mercs deisel back then I believe.
