Nort...Go baby Go, It must be nice to wake up, Wipe the eye boogers away, Clean the funk sweaters off your teeth, and say to yourself in the mirror "Wich Boat should I take today?"
I hope you all had a fun day on the water. I have a Sea Trial at high noon on wed. I hope it is as good as today.
Take care.

Ok, running in those big lazy swells sounds like an absolute blast, but how do you get out to them? I'm envisioning an inlet with 20' breaking waves you'd have to cross to get out of the harbor/marina. Yes? No? Is anyone actually going out to take advantage of these conditions??

The graphic is a pretty large scale. The open ocean beyond the islands is what I'm looking at. The islands are between 12-25 miles out..........beyond that, it's BIG.
The only bouy that seems to be operational out beyond the islands seems to be this one.

It shows currently at 13 feet, but as high as 19 feet measure today!!!!!

The red starts around 60-70 miles out ... we never run out there. We usually run between the 34N-33N and 119W-117W marks inside of Catalina Island
