Good Hotels in Miami?

Hey Guys, Wife and I are headed to Miami for the boat show and need some ideas on good hotels that won't brake the bank and are close to some killer party spots(names of those would be nice too).

At this point, you'll probably need to just find one that still has vacancy. Lots of reasons to be in South Florida in February other than the boat show.

You can forget Miami and Miami Beach, everything will be pricy and full. You will probably need to look towards Broward County, Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood. Both about 45 minutes north. Nothing will be inexpensive. Before you make a reservation ask on the board about the area, you don't want to stay in a lot of the areas even in major chains. Try calling a travel agent or AAA, probably your best bet at this late date.

The party is at www.RIU.com go to there site and get the direct number for there Miami Hotel then try reservations. I could not find anything through Travelocity.com, etc.
If they are full ask them for the names of the Hotel's that are close to them, sounds like most of us are staying at the RIU!! BTW, I found it was $89.00 a night and add $30.00 for beach front! Not bad I don't think!!

Staying at the RUI that Fun listed. It was a good deal. Hope to see you there. US AIR was the best plane fare I could find.

Try this site: http://reservations.floridahotels.co...-link&Dest=MIA

I got a room today at the Ritze Plaza Resort through this site on Collins Ave for 100.00 a night. There's a bunch of others! This site has rooms already reserved that even the hotel itself will list as taken until 72 hours ahead. Plus they have exclusive Internet Deals...Kind of like Travelocity.
I've used them a bunch of times.

Good Luck!
