Paint Remmoval

Looking to remove paint from my swim platform. Its a bar styleplatfor like seen on a powerplay or as in my case a Thoroughbred. I want to repaint it because of the chipping and peeling of it. I beleive its stainless if im correct

Its aluminum and the best way to refinish it is to have it sand blasted and powdercoated.

I paint, and you are correct! if it's a peeling problem then it needs to be blasted! but if it's just chips from use then it can be featheredged and painted over with no problem............

I have to disagree. When the pc starts to chip, and it will, it comes off in big flakes.

If it's a peeling (adhesion) problem then it needs to be stripped, if it's just chips from use it can be featheredged and primed then refinished. And I agree with Cuda, have it painted rather than powdercoated..........

I used paint stripper from lowes and had mine powdercoated again. The stripper made it easy to get off.

The chips are huge nothing that a blend or feather edge will help i have a bady guy that does all custome stuff (if anyone need it also) to take care of it i just have to prep it but i want to be part of the project so that we can do a little customeizing with paint=-)
