Sorry Steve, :(

Good News, As of this morning SML is only 2" below full Lake, wich never happens:p Now if we can keep the water up. This also means all the ramps should be open for business, SML bad news, the "Cliffs" was purchased this winter and they cut down the rope swing and looks like they are clearing for houses. I am assuming this will be the last summer of Cliff Diving/Jumping
WILL:( |
Sorry about the motor Steve. If there is anything we can do from up here, please let us know. How did she run prior to the spin? We all hope you can make SML and etc.!!
Bummer about the cliffs, although I am getting too old for that daredevil crap anyhow. Can't wait to go out!! |
Well, I was able to run about 20 minutes and never got over 3100rpm, but with those 30P props and nose cones I was was running 47. Maybe I'll get 30 minutes next time before a rebuild!!

Only 3 more weeks!
It finally stopped raining for a day yesterday so that I could test out the new XR drives and new gear ratios. This was the first real boating day of the year. We had more storms and flash floods on the muddy river today. Could someone provide the best directions for getting to Roanoke form Charleston, WV? We might be staying south of Charleston Thursday night, if we can be there by midnight. I have directions to get to Bernards Landing from Roanoke, but I'm not conforatable of using the Charleston/Roanoke directions from MapQuest or Yahoo Maps when towing a almost 9' wide boat. Thanks Randy |
Randy, if it was me I would stick to the interstates. Take I64 over to I81 and head south to Roanoke. I've driven that route many times, and trying to take short cuts through the mountains will take longer.
See you May 18th! Steve |
Steve,
Thanks, see you on the lake. Randy |
Steve, we are getting close, we look forward to seeing you again, I am bringing you some props from John A.
