My sister's house is on Delaware in Hyde park, about 3 blocks from the bay.......I'll be in the area, probably on dry land though.....I've never been to Gasparilla before, and am looking forward to it. :)

No way I would ever be in my boat out there. I am thinking of totally skipping Tampa on Saturday and heading over to Daytona for the start of the Rolex 24hrs.

I'll probably pass you going the other way on I-4. We are going to St Pete this weekend, but not to Gasparilla. 33 years in Pinellas County, and I never once went to Gasparilla. I hate crowds.
