Who needs a boat lift on the westcoast???

Re: Who needs a boat lift on the westcoast???
I am hoping that the CI Landing gets their new hoist up and working soon, but if it does not come to pass, I was thinking about using a boat lift.
The only problem with the lift idea is that I'll probably start "looking over my shoulder" at the new Baja 26 Outlaw with a Blue engine and end up pumping out a bundle of cash to trade into it
The boss woman keeps reminding me that until Mario finishes rebuilding the rocket's engine, I'm just a lurker ... and not a real boater anyway. Spoke with him this AM and he said the engine should be back from the builder early next week and he should have it rigged and ready-to-rumble by the weekend of the 10th. It will be really great to get back out on the water.

Hydro-hoist. I think it's a 12-14k lift. It had a 43 Scarab on it for a long time and holds our Gun with no problems. I do need to fix a very tiny/pin hole leak in the front starboard sponson in the fiber glass though.
Sorry to hi-jack your thread.

Glad to hear things are coming to gether. You may want to check in the Baja section. There's a guy that wants to trade a 33 for something (pretty much anything) smaller. You'd be stylin' in a 33!!!

Right on! Maybe my wife and I will actually make it down there for once. The only time we went to S.D. was to shoot the pics for Powerboat of the boat before the work. We stayed at a really nice hotel next to Seaworld and had a BLAST!!! Great place, we really want to get back down there. I know it'll be on the scope calander again, it's a big hit with the club.
