Best way's to remove paint graphics???
is there other ways to remove paint from a boat to get it back to white gel coat other than sanding. I know it can be painted white, but at a big cost, is there a chemical, high pressure procedure, sand blasting or easy sanding method to remove it, thanks

Ovenoff only works on uncatalized paint i.e. painted pinstripes, lettering etc........also any of the liquid strippers that will remove paint have a very good chance that it will damage the gel underneath!!! if you want to do it the right way the first time, sand it off and repaint it white!!!!
and I do paint for a living so it's not secondhand knowledge.............

i used to build boats [24'-40' offshore]and owned a bodyshop too, dads paint works great [from wal-mart] if your careful and like i said if its white gel coat under it, it beats sanding

tried the clean strip, very strong, don't get it on you, helped loosen paint, still took quite a bit of sanding, would take forever to do entire boat, anybody have anything else to try.
