Default question on 110 volt outlet

When my batery switch is ON, when are my 110 volt outlet supposed to supply electricity?

Anytime?
When I turn on my main breaker switch ON ?
Only if I'm hooked with shore power?
Yes I checked, my breaker for 110 volt outlet is ON.

I never used them, and I tried this afternoon and just could not get them to work. Any idea, suggestion?

Or maybe they are in trouble? I don't know.

Thanks!

Your 110 V outlets only work when your plugged into shore power or when your genorator or inverter are on if you have either of them.

where would usually be the inverter? Engine compartment close to the batteries or more likely somewhere behind my main breaker panel in the cabin?

If you look on your main breaker panel you may or may not have a "DC Main" breaker....when you hit that it runs the acc. of that part of the panel off DC power....if you have a breaker for the inverter in that portion of the panel then you should get 110v when you switch it on....if not then you should only get 110v when hooked up to shore power only...

Plug into shorepower and see if the 110 works.

You might have a battery charger that works on shorepower. Plug into shorepower and listen for a hum in the engine compartment.

You probably don't have an inverter. With an inverter, your 110 outlet would work without shorepower.

Just my two-cents...
