How to center a steering wheel

I just replaced my steering slave cylinder, & noticed that my wheel is now off about 1/4 of a turn. Center is now at 3 o-clock vice 12. Is there an adjustment to the cable I'm missing, or can I simply remove the wheel & index it back to 12?

On almost all hydraulic steering systems, it can't be done.

Get a symmetrical wheel.
