Kanookstr,
I didn't see the screening room section before, so I was going into the 'Kilo Records' section on the left side of the page. When I went to that, it had a link to the video of the 190 mph pass. On that page, it had the download option. Now I can't get to it anymore. Clicking on "Kilo Records" takes me to a big table. It worked earlier though. I'd email it, but I can't attach a file that big. |
ScreaminDemon - later this year we hope.
200? - Boat is certainly capable if Lord is willing and conditions permit. |
Wow!..that was cool!

Thanks for the info Bill. Oh well, Hopefully they will keep it there for future views. I wanted it for the lap top. this way I can show it to the guys that can't seem to crack down and get online..lol. ;)

kilokat - thanks for your reply, so to my original question, what are the basic rules, if any?
|
That was UN REAL!!!! What a rush. Kind of like my Formula. NOT!!! :D :D Jeff at Freeze frame does bring us some great stuff!!! :D :D

ScreaminDemon - Sorry I failed to answer your original question.
To run a sanctioned APBA kilo, a boat must be "legal" for a class and must have competed in races resulting in a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd finish. In my case, the Budweiser boat competes in APBA's Performace Extreme (PX) class which is basically the same as SBI's Superboat class. Either way, your phrase "anything goes" is pretty accurate. Hope that this is helpful. :) |
Hey Dave (Kilocat) get the APBA to put a link to the other camera that you mentioned that was from shore, I would love to see it! Where was the camera at? What freeze frame video is it going to be on?? I usually pass on thier stuff because it's kinda spendy, but if they had a segment about the run I would buy it in a heartbeat!!
Good luck shootin' for 200!!!! |
Funhome - the external video of our kilo run was taken from "Hawaiin Island" at LOTO. Freeze Frame doesn't have it because it was taken by a friend. Will be posting it on www.nautiboats.com, along with the onboard shots, in the near future.
Thanks for the "Good Luck" comments. [ 01-10-2002: Message edited by: kilokat ] |
