Stereo for A Nordic Rage
 

I just purchased a 04 Nordic Rage mid cabin and am upgrading the stereo system. It comes equipped with 4 clarion 6.5. I am trying to decide whether to leave the clarions in or to buy Memphis audio 6.5??? Any opinions or suggestions on this??
Also, there is not much room for a 12 in sub.I do not want to put the sub in the engine compartment because I feel that the quality is not as good and would rather have it out of confinement. Any ideas???

As long as you have the box built right, and mounted solid to the boat, concealed in the engine compartment is fine. Just make sure it stays dry and/or is rated for marine use. mwdill has a 27 Warlock with a single sealed box in the engine compartment and it thumps well. I have a single dual chamber sealed box completely concealed under my back seat, and it hits so hard it lifts the back seat up. I can't keep the girls off the back seat with an empty Corona bottle. :D
