Default Is this the same boat that fell off a semi???

I remember reading something on here a couple of years ago about a boat that looked just like this one. They were loading it on a semi to ship it back to Ohio and it slipped off the forks and fell about 6' to the blacktop.
There is only 1 picture on there add so I can't really tell. Plus it only has 496 HOs and I thought the one that fell had bigger power.
It sure is a beautiful boat.

The add says fresh H2O boat in Pompano Beach, Florida. Makes me wonder.
It also says Myco Alum Tri-axle trailer, and the one in the picture is a steel Heritage. I remember that the one they dropped was on a trailer and they dropped the whole thing. If this is the same boat that would explain the different trailer, but would also mean that this picture was taken before they dropped it
It is a sweet looking boat. I would think it would have blue motors.

so did the boat hit the ground or did the boat sitting on the trailer hit the ground? you'd think if it was on a trailer, the damage would be a lot less limited than if the glass hit the ground.. i love that trailer

The boat that fell landed on it's port side...and it wasn't a pretty site, a lot of glass damage. I'm not say this is the same boat, but it does have the exact paint job.
The one that fell was Baja's Poker Run Boat, it had been down in Fl. for a poker run and was back at a Baja dealer. The semi came into the dealer and unloaded a load of boats and since the truck was going back to Oh. they decided to just lift the boat and trailer up on the flatbed semi rather then pull it all the way back with a pickup.
The were using a big forklift with the carpeted hull forks when the whole thing slipped off.
I'm just curious if this is the same boat or if there were 2 boats with that exact custom paint job.

I just found a old issue of the Baja magazine, I scanned this picture so it isn't the best. I know that the boat in this picture is the one they dropped. I cried when I seen the pictures of her lying on her side.

Theres was a thread a couple years ago when the original 40 outlaw PR edition was dropped. It was dropped off of a fork lift in Florida and sustained SEVERE damage. It had twin staggard 850s and 6's. When the original thread surfaced it was said it would not be repaired due to Baja not wanting to take the liabitly of re-selling a damaged boat (the boat was still owned by Baja when it was dropped).

There's another thread in the Baja section right now with pics of the damaged 40 and this one at fastboats. This boat is NOT the same as the original that was dropped. There was a few painted with the same paint scheme.

Never mind...Here's the pics of the damaged boat....
