Do you not stand on that stringer or do you just stand on the hoses? They appear to me to be higher than the stringer. I made the mistake of putting some stuff on top of the stringer on my last boat and I knew it was a mistake the first time I worked in the bilge and needed to stand there.

Very loud colors, but as has been mentioned you can't beat a Cigarette. If I was in the market, It is what i would buy. However the 38' Top Gun model has been around for a while( mostly without the step bottom i believe) and buyng a well taken care of older model and breathing new life into it is an excellent alternative to buying the new(ish) one. IN my opinion.

Looks like those are braided lines, maybe they're the hydralic lines for the engine hatch??

Anway, I worked on a boat years ago where the owner blew a motor. I was scratching my head for a week to figure out what happened...... Then I traced the fuel line from the motor back to the tank.... The fuel line went over top the stringer and was held in place by the rubber insulated s/s hose clamp and it was pinched because someone stepped on it. When the guy ran WOT is must have starved the motor of fuel and he melted a hole in a piston...
