To start until now, you didn't have the option. Outboards have come a long way in sound, fuel and electronic steering and controls. The ability to trim out of the water, getting in and out of the water with platform, space in the boat and ease of O/B maintenance. You won't loose layout space either with a different set up in cockpit, can do a U-shaped seating with table that folds down.

Here is the cockpit shot. Concept has doubled it's plant size as of December. We are actively seeking new dealer representation; if you are a dealer and interested, please PM me.

There was a person at the stern and on the bow keeping it away from dock. They were just picking us up at the south Miami marina. As we were stepping on the boat, they came out of the marina office and required us to pay $1 per foot just to board!!!!

To add to the question about why outboards, (Susan pretty much covered it) but I'd like to add that you can put many many more hours on an outboard than a big block. With the Concept 30 closed deck you have a boat with twin engines that if one engine breaks you still have one to get you home, this boat will do about 80, you can put around 3-4 times the hours on outboards over I/O's and you can get into shallow water with outboards were a I/O can not. To me boats like the Concept 30 closed deck are much easier to own.
