Your running a Talon right?? A guy I know had them on his with 575's and blew about 6 I think, in only one year. He then had Hustler convert it to Six's. Good luck!!

Talons are hard on drives but mine has been ok so far, another guy up here has a Talon with 575/ XR's and has been breaking gimbal rings, but as far as I know the drives have been ok. # 6's are the way to go obviously, but big $ and not shiftable.

Why would anybody be unhappy, I think a year is reasonable amount of time to wait for drives

FTN40- I think I remember that Hustler, a 50 from Chicago. He had run a 47 outer while it was on order. We fixed a fuel pump for him on the 50 at a poker run, got him going then it broke a drive before the end of the run (B-Max). He was a very nice guy as I remember.

If somebody has been waiting for a year, there is obviously more to the story...

I waited about 2 months for mine, which was about a month longer than promised..

Anyway, I had IMCO's and was blowing them up left and right. I haven't blown anything up with these drives so far.

But, this all makes me worried about customer service if I ever break one....
