I think the vee line up was a 51GTX, 51 sportyacht, 47GTX (in the water), and a 46. I can tell you if i'm right on Sunday!!

I have some questions for those who looked at the ol CAT.
1. OInly 3 steps?
2. Aluminum rams on the rudder not stainless?
3. Enclosed Cockpit with no escape hatch? 6 people seating with no escape?
4. Cockpit inner liner? All the water runs to the rear of the boat. How do you get the water out from underneath the inner liner?
5. 1800hp turbo motors in a pleasure boat? Is that a 2 hr motor?
I have more questions..

But first, let's remove the word Liner because obviously you have the impression that it is a floating floor typically found on a center console which I can assure it is not.
I am not sure how many details Mike wants let out about the build on his boat just yet...
So to keep it simple, it is 1 solid piece of lamination on the hull, and it is one hell of piece of artwork that just looks great inside and out !
1. Only 3 steps?
Red is a tough color to view, but so far I think I counted about 8 steps. You may only be looking at the 2 ventilated ones that reach out to the sides...
If the photo I see is correct, it has a whole lot going on under there just like Mazzo's Vee
3. Enclosed Cockpit with no escape hatch?
There are two very large hatches on the top.
This is a pleasure boat and has a center console down the center of the 2 front seats.
There simply would be no room to get to a tunnel hatch on the bottom of the hull, let alone try to get 6 people through it...
My gut feeling is Mike has the canopy designed to take the impact to the point that if it were to be upside down, no water would be getting in.
The Lavey people seem to have done a great job with theirs when they dumped their Vee hull in Destin.
When the divers arrived they actually asked them to give them a few minutes to collect themselves. The Divers didn't realize that the canopy had no water in it.....
