30 Spectre W/ Triples "wild Thang" any info
 

There is a 30 Spectre with triple 2.5's For sale in Ft myers. Has a pretty loud paint job on it that says wild thang. Does anyone have any info on this boat. Guy selling will not give a demo on boat, but will allow survey . Says too many no speed zones and wont entertain a test ride. I have a friend that is interested in boat. also looking for a good merc outboard guy in that area that would be interested in checking engines and boat out .

Best outboard guy on the west coast is John Vanderstahl (sp?) aka "Big John" out of Sarasota - don't have his number handy but will post in the am unless Ryan Beckley beats me to it....

Who buys a boat now a days without a sea trial? Sounds fishy.......

as far as who buys a boat and dont test ride it" i think its a totaly bad idea" but wanted to first check out engines and hull then, take it from there

John now works at PRO MARINE in Palmetto Florida.

I know that boat.It had 2 new power heads about a year ago.It does run hard if you can deal with the smoke....:D
