My last two boats had Johnsons on both of them, 30 and 36 Concepts, only had problems with the lower counter rotating unit, popped two of them in 400 hours??? My good friend's Ocean Hawk is in the E-Tec TV commercial/ advertisement, he has blown both power heads the first year out, they did step to the plate and fix though....

I don't know the exact number but it's something like 350 moving parts on a typical 4 stroke OB VS. 40ish on an E-Tech 2 stroke. Additionally, between 20-30 cheaper than the 4 stroke and warranty programs that are amazing. Theya re very nices engines.
