I guess its really depends on what ya like and what he is really looking for.He needs to look and drive them first. If he buys a new Hustler and plans on power make the cut the strakes out of it.Between 100-105 just the rear ones ,above the 105 prob both.

I drove a 01 38 Cig that my buddy just bought, It suprised and impressed me.I just dont like the cabins in them.It did feel a little smaller than my Hustler ,also a little heavier feeling. But i still got 84mph out of it.

Maybe a Fountain bottom ,cig ride on a Hustler hull?

:drink:

Agree, I have driven Charlie's boat and I thought it ran well. If you are looking for medium priced boat and 525 range power they are a great boat, particularly in medium conditions.

I don't think you want to compare them to the OLs and Cigs, to me you are comparing apples and oranges.

Personal opinion, but I still think they are one of the nicest looking boats sitting on the water.

I enjoyed my 388 and felt the build quality was very nice. It was fast and efficient with stock power.

Currently own a Cigarette but it really gives me no more pleasure than the Hustler.

agreed, I had fun in that one..
