Good luck with the build. You will find that the budget and time frame will at least double. I can get you started with a pair of TRS transom assemblies and transmissions if that helps.

Keep focused on getting it on the water.
You keep mentioning paint, and designs - that's the last of your concerns right now. New Gauges?? That's gonna be a couple $$ too if ya want the pretty billet and Bling. Get yourself some good reliable motors and drives, and put you're $$ into the rigging. At least get functional gauges, and build from there. Vinyl work, if not too complicated, is pretty easy. I re-did the entire Cockpit and sunpad of my last boat over a winter myself. Bought a sewing machine and a few $100 in marine vinyl and went to town. The paint can come later. Actually, I don't mind the plain white wrapper look. But, it could use an accent color. Too wild of a paint scheme on that boat would look silly IMO. BTW - It's a great looking boat. Keep us informed WITH PIC'S of the progress. Good Luck. |

Good Luck. 1.Paint (so that i can match everything after that) 2.Interior(Vinyl, Guages, Flooring) 3.Some minor rigging AFTER THESE STEPS AND READY TO BOLT THE POWER AND DRIVES IN I WAS GOING TO TRY TO SPEED THINGS UP A LITTLE BY BORROWING AGAINST THE BOAT FOR THE POWER... Is that a bad approach ... give me feedback... if i wait to come up with all of the funds for the power then it might be a long time before you ever see me at a poker run... I think this is my best approach besides if i get turned down at that point the boat will just be sittin there screamin at me to finish and i will make it happen somehow... |
