Boat Name ...need help badly!

Guys-

This is my second post on this topic - the first yielded some good suggestions, but no winner. The sense of urgency is now around the fact that I pick her up 2 weeks from tomorrow and the documentation company needs a name no later than next week to finish the paperwork.

2007 Sunsation Dominator SS with 496 HO's. Boat will be silver to black fade with prominent red accents.

A few things on me. I like to workout, I make my living in the IT/Wireless field. I love speed and have been in performance boating since I was 18. This is the first boat I have ever ordered (let alone purchased new) and was enabled to do so by taking a risk on a small company that we took public and I was able to cash in. My wife is a big part of this as well as she loves fast boats, fast cars, etc and will step up to the steering wheel without hesitation.

I tried all things 'Sun' and couldn't come up with anything good. I was thinking I could play off the ability to own a new boat like 'finally' or perhaps the career accomplishment like 'took the risk' or something but they are both cheesy. I prefer to keep the name small (perhaps limited to 1 word) as Sunsations do not have a lot of real estate on the back for naming.

Help guys...I have 1 week and don't have anything remotely close to final.

I'd stick with "Need help badly" pretty much describes most people in the IT field:D

dukenrock 03-01-2007 08:39 PM

Probably too many words, but since you are in the IT industry...

Ca$hed Out 03-01-2007 09:20 PM

A friend of mine James (Excursion) told me 'one day it will just hit you'. Well, I was just reading Rich's post and it triggered the hit.....

CA$HED OUT

What do you guys think?

t500hps 03-01-2007 09:24 PM

I like it....a local guy (in sales) has the name "Outta Commi$$ion" on the back of his and I love it.

Once you get yours named, help me with mine!!!!! Best thing I have so far is "Impressions" (It fits the industry I'm in)

McGary911 03-01-2007 09:26 PM

I'm terrible at naming things.....my boat doesn't even have a name, but I'll give it a shot.

Haulin' IT

could have been worse, I suppose. ....

MegaByte*3 03-01-2007 09:26 PM

"CA$HED IN"

Good luck with the new boat.

Tom

Funny you should say that....10 minutes ago I had an email from Sunsation saying the boat will be ready next Friday and I need to close my loan. This means that the doc company will need the name tomorrow so I can finish my paperwork in time.

11th hour is when the best ideas come forward....if Rich and Russ like it, that's it unless I get some compettion in the next 12 hours :)
