The memories are still haunting. We must stay vigilant and never forget. RIP to all those who lost their lives on that terrible day.

The New York Skyline has been forever changed,
By a people so evil and very deranged,

I'll never forget the time we spent down in the debris field after the towers fell. It was an honor to work with you. I know my contribution to the overall effort at WTC was irrelevant, but it allowed me to witness the heroics of others. For that, I was deeply touched and forever saddened. But, lest we forget, America has recovered from this tragedy and that fact should stand as testament to the strength of the American people and the ideal that is the United States of America.

Separately, I appreciate that the SEALs brought bin laden to justice. Good job.

For my friends downrange and in harms way today, stay safe brothers.

God bless America and all who call it home.
