Cigarette delivers eye-catching display
From the Soundings Trade Only Web Site
Cigarette Racing Team of Opalocka, Fla., was named Best of Show at the Miami International Boat Show.
The National Marine Manufacturers Association presented the award to Cigarette partners Skip Braver and Neill Hernandez.
“We recognize exhibitors who really go above and beyond in making their displays appealing to the eye, maintaining good traffic flow and are inviting to customers,” said Cathy Johnston, NMMA vice president of Southern shows, in a statement.
Cigarette says part of the attraction to its exhibit was the new 39-foot center console fishing boat called the Top Fish. Another highlight was the introduction of a new division of Cigarette Super Yachts with a 55-foot model featuring three staterooms; the yacht will be available in April.
Braver also credited his employees in getting the boats prepped for the exhibit, the efforts of Cigarette dealers on the show floor, the attractive display by the Rock Group of Miami marketing agency, and the advance and on-site media relations by Johnson Communications.
The display was backed with sales of Cigarette Racing apparel which the company says has been a crowd favorite for decades.
