I have a friend that has a straight bottom Tiger that tried some in the -2 length and couldn't get it on plane even with 5 blade Herrings.

If the boat isn't over 80 mph, I don't believe there's any real benefit in having a crescent lower (sport master).

1. The last time that I checked, boats are designed to get wet. It'll be just fine.

2. Can't talk on the phone during the day...

1. Ummm, exactly how much speed did you gain?

2. I put some SpeedWax on the bottom. If your boat gets used more than 2 times this season, bring it on out and watch me walk away with my 6 cylinders!!!!
