need anything hauled from CA to NY?

if anyone needs anything hauled from CA (around LA) to NY (around NYC) Or i suppose any place reasonabley in between email me at [email protected]

I've got an empty 50' race trailer heading here in a few weeks. It's setup for formula cars (like indy cars) so it can't really haul any cars but engines or drives or stuff like that woudl be fine.

I may have a bike in Fountain Hills AZ that needs to head east to IN. I will know by Monday for sure. Let me know if you have any interest.

If you need I'll assist with the load if this happens OK?

bgchuby01 03-08-2007 08:31 PM

Can you load up the trailer with a full load of Mexican's?

dukenrock 03-08-2007 08:31 PM

Thanks, I'll let you know next week. My brother owns the bike (FH, AZ) and my Father In law is wanting to buy it. He'll see the pics this weekend. I'm sure he'll like it. I have no idea what I should figure for shipping so if you guys could give me any ballpark I could let my father in law know what to expect.

Thanks,
Kevin

HA! my mom just moved to fountain hills AZ actually! Well she's just out there for the winters now, but my grama is living there full time in one of those old peopel communities now too!

She keeps telling me it's really nice an done of these days i'm gonna have to go out and visit!

Drop me an email with the details. I'll pass all of these requests along to the driver and see what route he's planning on taking.

DUDE!!! of course!!!!!!! why do you think I'm bringing the trailer to NY??? :D

dukenrock 03-09-2007 06:34 AM

I don't think he's a Chamber Member. He works in the network divsion of Cox Cable.

My father in law is going to take the bike. If you could get details on the route, I'l see if Dave (Brother) could make arrangements to get the bike to Havasu if the route works out. Thank!

puder 03-09-2007 12:19 PM

the trailer mght be headed to phoenix anyway so it would probably be easier to pick it up in fountain hill

dukenrock 03-09-2007 12:42 PM

That will work out great. Just give me some tentative dates. I'll hook you up with my Brother Dave's phone number. It's a Yamaha 1100 with fairing and bags. Probably about 600-700 pounds? I'll see about what I have to do for insurance etc prior to pick up. We'll also figure out where to pick it up as he heads east. I have your phone number so I can call you next week or after I hear of a date from you as far as pickup goes. My number direct number at work is (260)960-2200 in case you need to call me. Thanks for helping!!

Puder,

Did you get my email this weekend?

Puder-
Got the bike last night. Driver took extra care in strapping the bike down and did a great job. Thanks for all your help. I'll see my Father In Law tonight and make sure he sent you a check. Thanks again!!!

-The trailer didn't fair so well. He lost a complete wheel and didn't notice until he met up with me.....

bgchuby01 04-06-2007 03:20 PM

You're getting better lately so I guess you smuggled a load of dictionaries across some border in that trailer.:evilb: :evilb: :evilb:

puder 04-06-2007 11:23 PM

hey Sy, actually i brought in like 16 gross of depends undergarments for you! You shoudl be able to make it until at least may with tha many! :p

duken, happy to be of service. Yeah the trip back has been rough. The guy we bought the trailer from might not have done the prep on it he was supposed to prior to us picking it up. In fact the driver, tom, was standing aroudn for abotu 4 hours waiting for them to fix a few things before he left LA with it. The plan was for him to head to LA, get picked up at the airport, drive 45 minutes to thier shop, hop in the truck and be on the road by noon ad in phoenix around 5 on monday. He didn;t leave LA until at least 5. That delay cost us at least 1 additional day on the trip!!! ergghhhh

sy goldberg 04-07-2007 01:33 PM

A Puder Lie !

He told me those DEPENDS were made of KEVLAR,they weren't.I won't tell the rest of the story.:evilb: :evilb: :evilb:
