The standard X for a single engine 28 Pantera without a notch is 17"--thats what Jo told me.

The propslip varies depending on power and prop used between about 12% and 18%

Yeah I know that Jo likes to run their non notched 28's about 5 - 5 1/4 below the V.

I am asking this obvoisly for my 28 Saber. Which as far as comparison it would probably be very similar to the setup on a 28 Pantera ( no notch transom ) & generally Jo sets them up with Bravo 4 blades.
The boat should come in around 5000# & will probably end up with a Konrad on it. I am just woundering with all of the new 5 & 6 bladers that are out now , am I best staying conservitive with the X & running a 4 blade bravo or going just a touch higer & running a 5 or 6 blade ?
Keep in mind the boat is a pleasure boat with a cabin & is a non step V that will need bow lift. Just trying to get some opinions to kick around at the moment.

If you need any help or direction on the Konrad. Let me know. It's a very complete system, but there are things to be aware of.

Also, if I can help with the purchase, I'd like to be your distributor of choice.

Kirk

Thanks Kirk, Where did your X end up at ? I would assume somewhere around 4 1/2 - 5 Due to the fact that you are running a box.
