The Top knot ropes are great, they float, and are very soft.

Word of caution on colors with red dye in them, make sure that you buy good lines, I knew of a few instances where that color will bleed and it could stain vinyl

Topknot is the best. 16 vibrant colors and they make one that is a fender rope and dock line combination. I have had mine for 3 seasons and love them.

Have any of you used the fender covers that are 3rd down on the link below? I have always had socks in the past, these look nice but they also look like a more rough material that could scratch. Surely they wouldn't scratch but they look odd.

I had covers when I first bought my boat. But they seemed to gather dirt and wood slivers. I removed the covers because they got so full of crap from old docks etc...
