I was just flipping on it while 24 was at commercial, but I thought it was weak.

Expected a little better from Nicholas Pileggi writer of Goodfellas and Casino. Would make an ok pilot for a more closer to reality Miami Vice though... Very weak for even a TV movie though...... :D

Pileggi has another project coming out called American Gangster, that the plot does borrow a bit from Miami Vice season two.

if im not mistaken it reminds me of what happened to that promoter of club Liquid that used to promote with that girl Casaras that he was locked up for the same thing.........Im gona have to due a search but the story seemed the same....

There was another series a while back where they blew up a Concept. I can't remeber if it was "Theif" with Andre Braugher, or "Smith" with Ray Liotta.
