Nice! What's the casing for?

Tom A. 03-17-2007 09:06 PM

VERY NICE!
I like the "Bullet" casing. Is that the cigarette lighter or the light switch?

US1 Fountain 03-17-2007 09:08 PM

looks great like the new layou
which guages did you eliminate?

Steve_H 03-18-2007 10:13 AM

removed 5 gauges. the fuel pressure gauges (carb motors)and the hour meter gauges by buying combo rpm/hour meter gauges.

klaw 03-18-2007 10:22 AM

cool I take the fifth guage wa the speedo being moved from dash to original compass spot

Steve_H 03-18-2007 10:25 AM

yes the gps speedo will replace the old compass. i also removed the vapor gauge. wasnt working anyway. probably mount a new under the steering wheel.

priceb 03-19-2007 02:24 AM

Very nice, what paint did you paint the aluminum with? Also, how were the holes for the gauges cut? Laser cut, or with drills?

Back4More 03-19-2007 02:40 AM

Nice!

Vincent Custom Paint did the painting. he used Spees Hecker. the cigarette scripts were done with a stencil and the switch labels are vinyl with clear over them. i cut the panel at work with a laser.

ctadams21 03-19-2007 12:22 PM

Very cool. Guage and panel updates go a long way to making a boat look much more modern.
