Can never have too much garage. That'll be a nice and fun project.

My sister and her husband just put in a garage like that. I believe it's 15X40 and has a decent size loft in the rear of the garage.

If I can find the pics I'll post em.

when my father in law saw what I was building that was his idea too.......my conclusion was that I was going to be starting up engines, painting, using the torches, stripping paint, making all kinds of noise.......drinkin' ........ sometimes till 1 or 2 am.......you know.......the stuff you built a garage for!!.......didnt want to worry about disturbing someone who lives there.......the money would have been nice but after thinking about it for about 10 min I said no.......

This is what my sister and her husband got. It was a pre-fab building. If it was my building I would have put a taller door in for the boat though....

It'll sell with an option to have the whole upstairs as a room or what they did was have the back 15 ft. as a loft. Not a finished room, more of a hang out area for the guys...

Yep it needs a higher door. I'm putting a 16x14 door in the front and 8x6 in the rear of the garage. Rafters will be about 16' high, lots of room to pull motors

I have a 40*60 w/ 20' eaves in Texas. I live in a 1200 sq. ft. apartment in the back and wouldn't have it any other way.

I was built by a crazy crack-head but he used all Mueller steel and it works great.

Bragger!!

I am flying home in a few minutes, and I have a Skid-Steer waiting at the house to start clearing and leveling. Since you are so fresh with experience, why don't you come on up to VA and give me a hand.
