Not if ya plan on running. Figure 3 weeks to find the old one, 4 weeks to template the hole for the new one (double it if you run a pair), add 5 weeks to cut the hole, 2 weeks to bolt in the sub, 6 weeks to run the wire, a week to strip the ends of the wire and put the connectors on...better add another week to put the grill on.

Start the project in November and hopefully we'll see ya by the 4th of July. :D

Steve gave the boat away to a charity, so the charity org. must be selling it now.

sakoutis3 08-23-2007 03:16 PM

Nice asking price. At least its in line considering the amount of work needed to update it.

Depending how you want the boat to "look"...it can be dropped in the water and run tomorrow.

Steve had the engines rebuilt about a year ago, drives rebuilt as well as trasmissions.

If you're stuck on the "look", well yeah, it needs some work. Even if you put $60-75K into it you get your money back at some point..

I'm heading down to the boat now, gotta lot of cleanup work before the trip tomorrow.

hunster 08-24-2007 08:26 AM

Ok , so how'd it go. Dogs chew up the new upholstry? Hit a bunch of wood in the delaware. There must be a lot of crap floating over there after all this rain. Watch out.

Congrats Sak ... all kidding and abuse aside must be nice!

That's enuf of serious stuff ... Whadya she runnin' after 11mos. and $100K??? 62.7gps!?! :evilb: LOL :drink:

Cruise down south to Tice's on Sunday :cheer:

sakoutis3 08-26-2007 08:52 AM

The numbers we're getting are extremely impresive. Some minor issues to deal with on Monday then take another run. I haven't even seen close to this boat's potential yet. The quality of workmanship from both LHA Performance and Gellner Engineering is 100% 1st class. These guys are great and the end product is well worth the wait.
