If my truck needed a jet ski to help it get up the ramp I would just shoot myself now.

ahhhhh...... why didnt the guys with the big cruiser just back the trailer into the water and launch normally instead of wasting money on a crane???

Some (probably most) semi trailers don't have bearings that can handle being submerged.

And they'd probably have to back down the ramp too far to float the boat, the ramp probably isn't paved that far down.

No wheel bearings are meant to be submerged ..you grease them afterwards to force the water out.. Bearing buddies have a spring that puts pressure on the grease to displace the water.. Id say the crane was far more expensive than greasing the bearings and my guess would be ..Too shallow, and thats why the silver truck was so far in
