Which gas do you use on a 675 Keith Eickert engine.

I use 93 octane in mine.

I would think any engine up to 1000hp should beable to run on 93.unless its a lower budget built motor and is turned up to make the power:D

I ran 93 in mine w/o any problems. 700ft above sea level, hot & humid summers. The KE675 is pretty conservative only making approx 4lbs boost.

92 Octane will work without damage,93 preferred.

Actually I was just checking thru my papers and came across the spec sheet for the Eickert 675 and is says a "minimum of 89 octane"---if you would like I can fax the sheet to you just pm me your fax number.

Hi Joe,

I know this tread is very old.

Do you still have the spec. sheet for that engine? I would love to have a copy of that. Any chance you could scan it and mail it to me or maybe post a picture of it here?

the engine calls for 89 or better ,you can run 89 but if i could get it i would run better then 89 just to be safe.

Thank you very much! I am surprised by the full throttle rpm! My engines has the rev limitters set to 6.000 and I was told they have a max rpm of 5.800 to 6.000 depending of who I have asked. Anyone else turning them up to 5.800-6.000?

yes, then I had them backed down to 5400. I ran premium pump gas. Good engine once you get the air/fuel set right.

My engines were built using the exact specs above

Pretty sure he used holley projection tbi’s, but not sure which injector #.

i replaced a set long ago i think they were gm truck throttle body injectors if you call or send one to a specialist they can tell you the part number then look at rock auto i have received many injectors from them good quality and good company

Just round table talk…

The Merc 575’s had the GM throttle body injection units. I know this 1st hand.

All the searches i’ve done in past snd oresent KE 675 ‘s had Holley throttle throttle body units.

did they use the same injector? i remember it being large and easy to clean and used not very high pressure
