Maybe I have never paid attention before to the belt setup on Sterlings, but notice the blower belt. It does not have cogs or a v setup. I would think that could slip with so little surface area.

Maybe ya get the best of both worlds, when it's hooked up act's like a set of slick drag tires, but if the engine cough's hopefully it slips ???????? Just a guess

A multi v grove belt has twice the surface area to grip and a cog belt will not slip at all. Interesting setup. Beautiful engines.

I guess when ya look at it from your perspective that makes a lot of sense having twice the surface area.

Sterling has a record for building some performer's
so they must have there reason's. But it's beyond me.

Sterling is about 20 miles south of me here in Fenton Mich. and I think I heard them dyno those motors 1 day!!!:eek:

You guys should see this boat its like nothing ever thats come out of skater. was out there the other day this thing is over the top its looks like its going 100 mph just sitting there cant wait chris to dial this thing in talk to ya
