i paid the $45 last year, just didn't renew. Cash is tight BECAUSE i'm a boater. I'm not like some of you guys with half million dollar boats, i have a 16 year old boat worth maybe $35k and a 15 year loan on it. $45 won't break me, but $45 here and $45 there, plus $3.50 a gallon, plus a mechanical failure or two, will.

$20 a year i'd pay. $45 a year is pushing it. The only site i currently pay for is $20 a year and comes with 20 mb of webspace and only one advertisement per page.

You'd think improving content for all users of this site, paying and not, would increase traffic and ultimately increase value for advertisers, and thus advertising revenue. I know I'd spend a lot more time here and actually read a lot more of the forums if I could just see the pictures. In doing so i'd be exposed to much more advertising...

In all seriousness,it's way worth it...not just the girls or boats, but the learning from it all , it pays off!!! I've been to other sites that wanted more money with 2,500- 4,000 members...there are 45,000 members!U can find out everything about anything! I'm just as tight with a dollar as anyone and far from being rich...If money's that tight I'll donate a dollar and I bet 44 others will by the end of the day,those are the kind of people on here.Mike
