That video doesn't even do it justice...with a ship that size to be tossed like that I bet they are 30-50footers.

Anarchy Powerboats 03-23-2007 02:00 PM

That vid made me break a sweat.

masi242 03-23-2007 07:32 PM

I had a ride like that once on Lake Champlain:drink:

MnHowardCat 03-23-2007 08:19 PM

Wow I think that would have spilled my drink

jeff32 03-23-2007 09:49 PM

can't see why it would'nt move more foward instead of waiting to be shaken from side to side...

obnoxus 03-23-2007 09:54 PM

Man, the middle of that video looked like one pitch was 45 degrees over !!!!!!!!!

cuda 03-23-2007 10:17 PM

Damn! How big is that vessel?

Btw, there wasn't an Apache ever made that couldn't run at least 90 in those seas.

No arguement here but the sea can't do that without the wind. It looks like it would have cut the swells a little better and have been more stable with more speed. I know we could get some serious airtime in " ON THE CHIP " in that stuff. I think I might bring an extra bottle of air though .

That is some crazy water. These larger vessels have ballast tanks that are filled/empty depending on load.. it seems like that vessel was empty (as in no passengers) and the ballast tanks empty as well.. it was really high in the water.

TeamSaris 03-24-2007 03:03 PM

I would actually fell a lot safer in something smaller (45-50) feet that wouyld run through it at around 45, LOTs more control.
