Default Looking for info on this 28 apache

http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/4/8/88097548.htm

Does anyone have any history on this boat? It is New Hampshire at Silver Sands Marina. I'm thinking of having a local surveyor do a total (hull/mechanical) work down on this boat. His name is John McDounugh, does anyone know him/reputation? or is there someone else that would be more qualified to look at it?

Thanks, Dave

If you were smart you would put a deposit on that boat before someone buys it. 28 Apaches are very rare boats and that is the cheapest I have ever seen one listed for.

If there is nothing wrong with it I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Dude. Hit that chit!
Might want to budget an engine rebuild though.
That paint is pretty cool.

Thanks for the replies -- and yes I put a deposit down yesterday.
Still looking for feedback on the surveyor. Steve -- you think it might be someones old boat any idea how it was run or taken care of? Supposedly a fresh water boat since new?
Thanks for any help.

Dave

I know that boat well. It was bought new buy a friend of mine (same guy who now has the 34 DCB with Konrad drives) It's been a fresh water boat since 1994 He sold it to the guy in New Hampshire back in 1997 or so. Been on Lake Winnipesaukee since. I saw it last fall and it still looked pretty good. When it was new it ran 88 on the speedo (before GPS)
